Refund Policy

MyBlood is instituting a donation refund policy to ensure fair and transparent processing of requests for refund of donations as digital payments are becoming more frequent. MyBlood expects that all donors will exercise due care and diligence while making donations. MyBlood also recognizes that a donation may be made erroneously or donors may change their mind. MyBlood may also consider that a donation is refunded even if not requested by the donor but was essential to be refunded to ensure compliance with provisions of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (“FCRA Act”), as amended from time to time.

MyBlood will examine each request for refund of donation and endeavors to make the refund. MyBlood may also seek further information / documents and donors must co-operate in this regard.

However, MyBlood is not obliged to make refunds and may, in its discretion, decline any requests for refund of donations, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued.

If you would like your donation to MyBlood to be refunded:

You must request MyBlood in writing or by email for a refund and your request must reach MyBlood within 7 (Seven) working days from the date on which you made the ion online.

Foreign donations may require more working days for processing the refund

The written request stating the reason for requesting the refund must be sent to the address stated below and must contain all the following details pertaining to the donation:

  1.  Date of Donation,

  2.  Donation amount,

  3. Please provide receipt ID and transaction reference number for donations made online.

The decision to refund will be made by the finance team on review of the application. All decisions of MyBlood in this regard will be final and binding on the donor.
